*Extended Hours

The appointments in the evening (from 6:30 pm) will be pre-bookable slots and are not intended for urgent medical problems which will not wait until the following day – the out of hours service will remain in operation from Lincoln Hospital for such emergencies (as now) from 6:30 pm each evening).

Planned Closures

We are (usually) closed on the 3rd Tuesday of every month from 12:30 pm for staff training. Training is provided for all doctors and staff and is important. Emergency cover is provided during this time - call the usual surgery number (0844 4773072) and select option 1.

We offer full dispensing services to patients who live more than 1 mile away from any chemists shop and to all temporary patients (24hrs - three months in our area)

When We Are Closed

The out of hours centre may be contacted in an emergency (although if there is a life threatening emergency please dial 999 for an ambulance). Please dial the surgery number and follow the options. The out of hours centre is situated next to Accident & Emergency at Lincoln County Hospital on Greetwell Road.

Alternatively patients may dial 111 direct for urgent but non life threatening emergencies out of hours.

NHS Direct

In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call NHS Direct (0845 4647) to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
