Nurses

Practice nurses are qualified and registered nurses. They can help with health issues such as family planning, healthy living advice, blood pressure checks and dressings. The practice nurses run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma or diabetes, minor ailment clinics and carry out cervical smears.

Phlebotomists

We have three trained phlebotomists. They work throughout the week taking blood tests and undertaking routine BP monitoring.

Practice Management

The practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

Administration

We have a team of admin staff that includes receptionists, secretaries, data clerks and admin support. Our admin team will always endeavour to help patients with everything on the admin side from making appointments to dealing with hospital referrals.

We have a team of 3 cleaners to keep the surgery building “spick and span”.

Reception

Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses.

Our Health Visiting team may be contacted by ringing 01673 860543 / 863556" and remove all references to baby clinics etc.

Our Nursery Nurse works with our health visitors to provide support and advice on many aspects of childcare.

Our District Nursing Team are housed in the surgery building and may be contacted via 01673 860513. Our community nurses offer care in the home to those patients who are unable to attend the surgery.

Our Community Midwives hold twice weekly antenatal clinics in the surgery - contact them via Lincoln County Hospital Midwifery Dept on 01522 512512.

We have an on site Physiotherapist and also a Counsellor both of whom may be accessed by appointment.

Martine leads a team of qualified and experienced dispensers who deal with all requests for repeat medication and dispense to those we are able to.
